DC Winter
We've had a lot of gloom and cold, but not a ton of snow this year. Feeling pretty envious of the northeast right now.

Starting to feel like...
With a few inches of snow on the ground, and a temperature of 28˚ outside, DC is starting to feel like this Winter 2013 cover of Wilder Magazine. If you haven't gotten your hands on a copy of this beautiful publication yet, I highly recommend it. Shop past issues and curl up with some cozy, free downloads here.

Winter
We've had some small, but beautiful snow storms here the past couple months. And despite how drafty our nearly 100-year-old house is, we've been keeping cozy by the fireplace. Since I switched jobs in September, we've gone back to riding the bus to work every day, and I've been nervous about this winter. I don't handle the cold well. But our bundled walks through the neighborhood to the bus stop are actually helping me to pause, and enjoy the season. Even through yesterday's cold spell.
